23-24 Evaluations

Evaluation Schedule:
- THERE HAVE BEEN SOME MINOR CHANGES: Please review the attached and update your personal calendars as needed (We do apologize for the inconvenience, but we had some some scheduling conflicts with the City as well as to accommodate the Evaluators)
- The schedule will be posted on the ARA Website as well
Evaluation Process (U12,U14,U16,U19):
- Each division will have an initial Skills Session, you will receive an email from the Evaluators indicating which session your athlete will be in
- Based on scores the athletes will be regrouped for the following session which will be game play, after each game play the athletes will be regrouped
- Each player will have up to 3 gameplay sessions prior to team selections
- There will be age specific emails coming in the next couple days so please keep an eye out
A separate email will go out specific to U10 Families as the process will be different for that age group
Practice Jerseys
- Upon check in of the first session your athlete will be issued a set of practice jerseys with the same number on each
- Please bring both colors of jerseys to every ice time
- They must be returned at the end of evaluations otherwise you will be charged via you ARA jersey deposit. Instructions on returning are to come
Parent Liaisons
- Thanks to everyone that put their names forward to take on these roles, below are the Liaisons for each age group, their role will continue through the season and should be your first point of contact if you have any concerns or questions:
Volunteer Positions
- We are a volunteer driven organization, a separate email will come out shortly for the available volunteer positions throughout evaluations
- Again there will be opportunities for U16 and U19 Athletes to volunteer for younger age groups and either earn ARA volunteer hours for their family requirement or $25 per session towards team fundraising.
- U19 Will have a skills session this year and we will need adult volunteers to be on the ice helping with the drills - if interested please be aware you will need skates, helmet and a stick.
